Welcome to Justin, Meg, and Tyson Wohlford’s family page. On Wednesday, August 17th they officially became a family. Tyson was born and the world was changed for the better within an instant.
Shortly after his birth, doctors discovered that Tyson had a cogenital heart defect called Shone’s Complex that affects his heart, the valves, chambers and ultimately the way his entire body functions.
Baby Tyson is looking at a series of surgeries in order to save his life and enable him to live to be a happy and healthy child, teenager and grown man. Each of these surgeries is time consuming and will be performed at the country's leading pediatric cardiovascular hospitals. As parents, Justin and Meg will be looking at a heavy load of expenses associated with hospital fees, hotel stays, special equipment and more.
